What Apex Services

Every make. Every powertrain. Every Apex location.

Hourly labor rate: $145/hr group-wide. Commercial fleet rate: $128/hr per the SLA. Service quality and pricing identical across all five locations.

Apex services every domestic, Japanese, Korean, and European make, plus hybrid and EV. The OE diagnostic equipment we invest in for every platform is the same at every location. The labor rate is the same. The parts markup is the same. You can drop your car at any of the five locations and the service quality is identical.

Service appointments are recommended but walk-ins are welcomed. Most diagnostic work begins within 24 hours of drop-off; standard repair turnaround is 48-72 hours from estimate authorization. Fleet customers are subject to the Apex Fleet Solutions SLA (4-hour estimate, 24-hour turnaround on standard repairs).

Routine Maintenance

Manufacturer-spec oil, filter, and fluid service at OE intervals. We pull the maintenance schedule from your vehicle's onboard computer, not a generic chart. The result is service that protects your warranty (if applicable) and your resale value.

Service No. 02

Diagnostics

OE-level diagnostic equipment for every platform we service: Bosch KTS, Snap-on Solus, Autel MaxiSys Ultra, plus manufacturer-specific tools — VAG-COM for VW/Audi/Porsche, BMW ISTA, Mercedes XENTRY. Generic OBD-II scanners can't diagnose modern cars.

Brakes

OE and performance brake systems. Ceramic-rotor competent — we service the Mercedes carbon-ceramic, BMW carbon-ceramic, and Porsche PCCB systems that most independents won't touch. ABS and ADAS recalibration in-house.

  • Pad, rotor, caliper service for daily-driver to performance applications

Tires & Alignment

Hunter Hawkeye Elite alignment racks at every location. We sell and install Michelin, Continental, Pirelli, Bridgestone, Goodyear, plus the run-flat platforms the German cars require. Tires balanced on Road Force machines.

  • Full 4-wheel alignment $145 (front-only $95)
  • TPMS service and reset, including the Tesla and Lucid systems
  • Run-flat and OE-spec performance tires in stock at Tempe & Scottsdale

Service No. 05

Engine Service

From spark and timing-chain replacement to forged-internal performance rebuilds. The full range. We service the supercharged Range Rover V8, the twin-turbo BMW S58, the Mercedes M177, the Porsche flat-six platforms (PIWIS-coded), and the Toyota/Lexus V-engines through their factory training programs.

  • Timing chain, water pump, head gasket, valve-cover service

Transmission Service

Automatic, dual-clutch, manual. Factory fluid specifications honored — ZF 8HP, Mercedes 9G-Tronic, Porsche PDK, BMW DCT, Lexus AA80E. We do not "universal-fluid" your transmission.

  • Drain-and-fill service at OE intervals (60K-100K depending on platform)

A/C & HVAC

1234yf-equipped at every location. Arizona-summer-ready service. We hold the EPA Section 609 certification for refrigerant work and the OEM-spec service ports for every platform we service.

  • Full A/C system diagnostic ($95, waived with repair)
  • Compressor, condenser, evaporator service and replacement
  • Cabin filter, blend door, blower motor service
  • 1234yf refrigerant for 2017+ platforms; R-134a still available

Suspension & Steering

Air, coil, and adaptive systems. The Range Rover/Mercedes air-suspension diagnostic work that the dealers charge $400/hr for. Adaptive dampers (BMW M Adaptive, Audi DRC, Porsche PASM, Tesla adaptive air).

One of the few independent groups in Maricopa County certified to diagnose and service hybrid traction batteries (Tesla Model S/X/3/Y included, plus Toyota/Lexus/Honda hybrid platforms). Gilbert is the group's strongest EV location.
