Mesa · Location No. 02

Apex Mesa — the 2009 acquisition.

Eight bays in a 1980s concrete-block building. Home of the largest Apex Fleet Solutions bay block in the group.

Apex Mesa was the group's first acquisition outside of the founding Tempe location. James Caldwell purchased the existing 8-bay shop from a retiring owner in March 2009 for $720,000, including the building and the going-concern. Five of the prior owner's seven technicians stayed with the new ownership; two ASE-certified hires from the Camelback dealer group rounded out the bay roster.

Mesa serves the working-family West-Mesa customer base and the heaviest concentration of heavy-duty commercial fleet vehicles in the group. The Mesa Fleet Solutions bay block was the original Fleet Solutions facility when the division launched in 2017 — Ram 3500, F-350 Super Duty, Ford E-350 box trucks, and Sprinter cargo vans all route to Mesa for the heavier-duty diagnostic and repair work.
